 YATELEY
TAXIS
Yateley is a suburban town in the Hart District. Yateley’s
northern border is the River Blackwater around the Yateley Lakes.
It is next door to Blackbushe Airport making it an ideal location
for travellers making use of Blackbushe’s many private jet
facilities (see Footprint Fly for more information).
In the early 17th Century, Monteagle Farm was one of the minor
properties of the discoverer of the Gunpowder Plot, Lord Monteagle.
In the next few centuries Yateley developed as a coaching hub
between London and Reading, local legend has it that notorious
highwayman Parson Darby was hanged there.
